SCORE “Counselors to America’s Small Business”™,(formerly the Service Corps Of Retired Executives) has been serving the needs of America’s small businesses for over 40 years. As a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration, Score's over 10,500 volunteers provided over 443,210 counseling services to clients in fiscal year 2007. Score's activities are funded by an annual grant from the U.S. Government. SCORE members are unpaid volunteers who provide their knowledge and expertise in order to  benefit the community in which they live.

SCORE Mission: SCORE provides professional guidance and information, accessible to all, to maximize the success of America’s existing and emerging small businesses. This mission will be achieved by identifying, meeting and exceeding client needs and expectations.

SCORE Chapter 400 has served the Brevard County business community for over 20 years. The chapter provides various forms of assistance to over 500 clients each year.  Following are the chapter officers for Fiscal Year 2009, beginning October 1, 2008:
